Meet Liz
Springwater isn't just where I live, it's home.
My husband, Scott, and I chose to build our lives here because of the strong sense of community, the rural lifestyle, and the people who make this township such a special place. We've raised our family here, and today our son, Grayson, is an electrician apprentice with a local company, while our daughter, Lucy, is preparing to begin college this fall. Our home wouldn't be complete without our two dogs, Sam and Frankie.
For decades, I've worked in community service and mental health, bringing people together, solving problems, and helping build stronger communities.
As your School Board Trustee, I've worked to listen, lead responsibly, and make the most of every dollar invested in our schools.
I'm running for Deputy Mayor to bring experienced, community-focused leadership that puts Springwater and its residents first.
Born and raised in Elmvale, Liz knows what makes Springwater special. Growing up, she learned the importance of giving back from her mother, who taught her that strong communities are built by neighbours helping neighbours. That lesson has stayed with her throughout her life.
Liz has always believed that volunteering is one of the best ways to strengthen a community. Over the years, she has served on the Elmvale Library Board, represented Springwater on the County of Simcoe Accessibility Advisory Committee, and currently serves as a Director with the Flos Agricultural Society. She has also coached youth soccer with the Elmvale Soccer Club and volunteered with the Elmvale Maple Syrup Festival.
Whether supporting local events, serving on community boards, or working alongside volunteers, Liz has always been committed to giving back to the community that has given so much to her. That lifelong commitment to service, combined with a passion for listening, bringing people together, and finding practical solutions, is what inspires her to serve as your Deputy Mayor.
An In-Person Electronic and Internet Voting method will be used for the 2026 Municipal Election.
Eligible voters may vote online during the early voting period leading up to Election Day on Monday, October 26, 2026.
